Every year, the NFL holds a scouting combine to let potential NFL draftees to be studied, tested, and examined closely by NFL coaches, GMs, and scouts. The list usually consists of players thought most likely to be drafted.
This year’s list includes Bruce Irvin and Najee Goode of West Virginia. Irvin is thought to be a high round pick, and Goode, coming off a strong Shrine Game performance could get drafted in the middle rounds.
It is surprising is that Keith Tandy and Julian Miller did not make the list. Tyler Urban’s name being left off the list is a modest surprise.
These players, plus others, will have a chance to impress NFL types at WVU’s Pro-Day on March 16. The Combine runs from Feb. 25-28.
