Big 12 Preseason Rankings Revealed

  The West Virginia Mountaineers head into their first season in the Big 12 with high expectations after being picked to finish 2nd behind Oklahoma as voted on by members of the media who cover the conference. This comes on the heels of Geno Smith being named the Big 12 preseason offensive player of the year over Oklahoma’s Landry Jones yesterday.
  The Mountaineers will have one advantage over the Sooners: Oklahoma plays in Morgantown on Nov. 17.
Here is how the rankings went down (first place votes are in parenthesis):
