Bruce Irvin Sacks Aaron Rodgers Twice On Monday Night Football

Aaron Rodgers, 2011 NFL MVP, was sacked five times all of last season. Bruce Irvin sacked Rodgers twice in the first quarter of last night’s game on Monday Night Football.

The first sack came during the first play Irvin was on the field. From the left side, he beat Bryan Bulaga with a speed rush to take Rodgers down.

After the play, Irvin performed Rodgers well-known “Discount Double Check”.

His second sack came from the right side near the end of the first quarter.

The combination of Irvin and Chris Clemons have the Packers offensive line problems throughout the game as the Seahawks went on to win 12-14.
