WVUPros on the Hardwood Report: Winter break for several

With Christmas and the New Year’s holidays, many of your favorite Mountaineers of the past returned to our hemisphere for winter break. This past week, Da’Sean Butler, John Flowers and Alex Ruoff did not play. Joe Alexander and Deniz Kilicli were held out of their respective games. A quartet of WVUPros were in action, however.

Devin Ebanks – On Monday, Ebanks and the Veracruz Redhawks (Mexico) ran their league-leading record to 23-3 against Panteras. Ebanks had 19 points on 8 of 11 shooting.

Darryl Truck Bryant – Coming off being named the Euroleague Player of the Week, Bryant continued his strong play on Wednesday for BK Kolin (Czech Republic) on Wednesday. He scored 20 points to go along with six assists and four rebounds, but Kolin lost by three points to USK Praha.

Marcus Goree – On Friday, Atletico Aguada (Uruguay) defeated Trouville 88-78. Goree hit four three-pointers in the game for Aguada en route to a 17 point outing.

Dan Jennings – Jennings had a double-double for Jefes (Mexico) on Thursday night with 10 points and 15 rebounds, but his team fell to Titanicos 88-72.
