WVUPros Ladies on the Hardwood Report: updates from Lady Mountaineers overseas

This week’s WVUPros Ladies on the Hardwood Report features updates from France, Poland, Australia and China, as Mountaineer ladies play professionally across the globe.

Asya Bussie- In Poland Saturday, AZS UMCS (6-11) lost their match up with Wisla Krakow 103-61. Bussie saw 23 minutes of action and went 3-of-5 from the field. She added two free throws for a total of eight points, while contributing one rebound. AZA UMCS will next take the floor this Saturday against Sleza Wroklaw.

Olayinka Sanni- Flammes Carolo (8-10 LFB, 4-2 Eurocup Group E) lost a 70-64 game Saturday against Nantes in France. Sanni posted nine points on 4-of-12 shooting, and added three rebounds, an assist and a steal. Sanni and Flammes Carolo will

Natalie Burton- Natalie Burton played in two games this past week in Australia, with the Bulleen Boomers (10-11) losing one and winning the other. Burton played 22 minutes Saturday and scored five points to go along with eight rebounds in a 88-76 victory over the Dandenong Rangers. The next night, the Boomers lost to Bendigo Spirit 89-84 in overtime. Burton played only 12 minutes, and shot 3-for-5 from the field for six points. She also added a rebound for the Boomers who next play Saturday against the West Coast Waves.

Yelena Leuchanka-  Leuchanka and the Jiangsu Phoenix (2-4) lost both games against Beijing this past week on Thursday and Saturday. They will face-off against Beijing again Tuesday night. Stats were unavailable for these games.
