We continue our 2017-18 NFL previews by examining Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Mark Glowinski’s past, present, and future.

The Past: Glowinski started all sixteen games last season at left guard for the Seahawks after playing in only ten games as a rookie.

The Present: The Seahawks offensive line is a never-ending position of concern for the Seahawks as they try to protect QB Russell Wilson. The team brought in Luke Joeckel in the offseason to bolster the left side of the line. He can play both guard and tackle. To that end, Glowinski is also being tried at right guard. However, the team brought in Oday Aboushi as a free-agent to compete at that position.

The Future: Like most offensive linemen the Mountaineers put in the NFL, Glowinski is very versatile in that he can play multiple positions. Glowinski played at right guard as a rookie, so there’s an established comfort level there already for him. The rugged Mountaineer started all sixteen games last season for the Seahawks. We expect we’ll see the same this season.
