Geno Smith visited Seattle as the next stop on his free-agent tour

Free-agent quarterback Geno Smith decided to stay in the Pacific Time Zone for his next meeting with a prospective NFL team as he paid a visit to the Seattle Seahawks.

Smith met with San Diego on Wednesday and Thursday morning where that club is in search for a backup to Philip Rivers–and potentially their next starting QB. That evening, he flew to Renton, WA to have dinner with the Seahawks brass.

The Seahawks found themselves in need of a backup to Russell Wilson after releasing backup quarterback, Trevon Boykin, after reports of his alleged involvement with a domestic battery dispute. The only other quarterback on the Seahawks’ roster is Austin Davis.
