Although Will Clarke and Charles Simms were drafted into the NFL, other Mountaineers were able to find homes.

According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette’s Stephen Nesbitt, safety Darwin Cook will enter the Canadian Football League Draft where he’ll expect to be drafted next Tuesday. Meanwhile, defensive lineman Shaq Rowell and offensive lineman Curtis Feigt were selected as undrafted free agents to the Carolina Panthers and Cincinnati Bengals, respectively.

In three seasons for the Mountaineers, Rowell accounted for 97 tackles and six tackles for loss. Cook, on the other hand, had 243 tackles, nine TFL and seven interceptions over four seasons with WVU.

Cook, who was selected to the All-Big 12 second team last year, collected 243 total tackles in his four-year career along with seven interceptions and nine tackles for a loss. He made the most of his one fumble recovery, a 99-yard touchdown, during West Virginia 70-33 rout of Clemson in the 2012 Orange Bowl.

In case you forgot, let’s all go back to Sun Life Stadium:

Offensive lineman Pat Eger and receiver Ivan McCartney are also still high-priority free agents that can be picked up before the weekend is over by teams that didn’t fit all their needs through the NFL Draft.
