After starting the first four games of the season for the Lakers, Devin Ebanks slid to the end of the Lakers bench. He was replaced by Matt Barnes.
Ebanks ended up playing behind Barnes and Metta World Peace to not playing at all. Before his assignment, Ebanks had not played this month.
The Lakers are going to keep a close eye on the second-year forward from West Virginia as they sent him to their NBADL affiliate the LA Defenders.
Ebanks appeared in 12 games for the Lakers this season, and has averaged 2.7 points in 12.6 minutes per game.
