In the second week of the CFL season, we saw a player go on the injured list as one was getting ready to come off it and a first for Pat White.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats 24 – Edmonton Eskimos 28
The Eskimos eked out a close win against Hamilton. Pat White was listed as the third string quarterback on the depth charts, but the team put him in the game a few times in short-yardage situations. His snaps consisted of taking the ball and running it up the middle. In this game he had one carry for two yards. He also had a tackle on special teams, a first for him.
Earlier in the week, Robert Sands joined Selvish Capers on the Esks Injured List with a leg injury until August 22nd.
