After sitting out of football for one season, Darius Reynaud is back in. This time as a running back for the Titans.

After the New York Giants released him because of a hamstring injury, Reynaud signed a futures contract with the Titans, hoping to at least latch on to their practice squad.

The team switched Reynaud from receiver to running back – which he played in high school. The move proved very beneficial for Reynaud as he broke back on to the NFL scene during Week 1 of the Preseason against Seattle when he scored two touchdowns on back to back touches.

The coaching staff took notice and began to use Reynaud more in practice and in games. He led the NFL in punt return yardage (25.3) and ranked fourth in combined yards.

When Marc Mariani suffered a season-ending knee injury, the Titans tabbed Reynaud as their punt returner.

His ability to run, catch and return led to his place on the final roster.
