We told you earlier that Darryl Truck Bryant announced via Twitter that he signed to play overseas in Belarus.

Bryant averaged 17 points per game during his senior season at WVU. Over his Mountaineer career, he averaged nearly 12 points per game. He played for the Texas Legends of the NBDL during their Preseason, but was one of the last players cut before the regular season.

“I’ve just been blessed to do what I love for some good money,” Bryant told us. “I’m very excited. I was just waiting for the right opportunity, and my agent provided it for me.”

Bryant signs with a Tsmoki-Minsk team who are 5-6 this season. The team let go of PG Stefan Petkovic on Monday, making a roster spot available for Bryant.

“I haven’t had a chance to check out my new team yet, but I heard that it’s a very good league in Europe” said Bryant.

He looks to get started with his new team as soon as possible. “I will be headed over there very soon, so I can get to work between now and no later than Dec. 27th.”
