The Roughriders blew out Winnipeg 52-0. Sanders helped his team in four facets of the game.
He had 2 carries for 22 yards. 4 catches for 38 yards. Two kick returns for 27 and one punt return for 32-yards.
It was one if the widest margins of victory in team history and one of the biggest wins for their new head coach Corey Chamblin.
“I’ll tell you what, I told the guys this is the biggest win of my career,” he said following the game. “Even bigger than the first one. It seemed like everything went right. After five weeks when everything goes wrong, thank God things went right today.
“Everybody gets a game ball after this one.”
Sanders is still growing in his role, playing in a for a new team in a new league. He showed the team, coaches, and fans that he is ready to contribute in many ways and showed he is ready to become a more important part of the team arsenal.
The Roughriders have now won eight straight games against Winnipeg.
