On Sunday night, the Steelers pulled out a narrow victory over the new-look Colts 26-24.
Four Mountaineers played in the game. One, punter/kicker Pat McAfee, for the Colts. The three who played for the Steelers helped contribute in their victory.
Mortty Ivy had the highlight play of the night when he blocked a McAfee punt. Ivy was solid all-around on defense and special teams. He recorded three tackles in the game but found himself near the play quite often. Several times he had good penetration on passing and run plays.
Will Johnson started for the fittest time I’m his NFL career at fullback. He lined up in several plays at tight end as well. He had one rush for no gain, but held his own, showing a good pop, when engaging defenders. He had one tackle after a Roethlisberger INT and played on special teams.
Ryan Mundy came into the game late in the second quarter and showed an instinct got being around the ball. He had 4 tackles in the game.
