Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports today that the Chicago White Sox have traded utility man Tyler Kuhn to the Arizona Diamondbacks for cash considerations.
The White Sox drafted Kuhn in the 15th round of the 2008 MLB Draft. He played for AAA Charlotte this season at second base, third base, and left field. Kuhn batted. 273 with 26 doubles and 36 RBI’s for the Knights.
It is unknown what Arizona’s intentions are for the former Mountaineer, but having a versatile player on the roster is a bonus in the National League. He will likely be sent to the minor league first.
