With the above Tweet, Kevin Jones signaled that his long pre-Draft process is over.
Jones worked out for the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday with other NBA Draft hopefuls Tony Wroten, Cam Tatum, and Kris Joseph.
Including Memphis, Jones has worked out for, that we know of, 11 teams. Those teams are: Boston Celtics, Golden State, Oklahoma City Thunder, Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic (interview only), Dallas Mavericks, L.A. Lakers, San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies.
That is more than a third of the entire League.
In recent articles, we have told you that Jones’ agent said has a First-Round guarantee from a team. He has since backed down from that comment, saying that the team who told him that has choices in the First and Second Rounds. We still think the team that gave him the guarantee is Golden State, although that may not be his final landing-place.
Jones has done all he can to promote himself and his abilities. Jones fate will be decided on Thursday with the NBA Draft on ESPN.
